The evening was turning cold and dark, so the last pictures were inside, on the stairs to the first floor.

A princess dress at Schloss Ravenstein

After the door we reached the room we had planned, and made a few pictures in motion there.

The ivy room was next. I have used it with other people, and it keeps being worth the walk.

The fourth set was the entrance hall and the old dresser. Lenja climbed onto it. The red dress followed. Thank you, Lenja.

From there we used an old display cabinet, then a room with green wallpaper.

The green room continued, and then we climbed to the attic. First the wooden stairs, then a cupboard. The yellow corset is the other set from the same day. Thank you again, Michaela.

We went on to the entrance, a place we both like, and stopped in the narrow corridor where I had photographed Lukas in January.

The last room had an old desk in the middle, and Jenny stood on it. On the way back we paused at a door with a broken window. Our January session is the orange dress. Thank you, Jenny. I would do this again.

A yellow corset at Schloss Ravenstein

The purple and the yellow did the work. The room already had the contrast.

Next was a doorway that had been bricked up, the door still standing. Downstairs, an old sideboard in the entrance gave us another stop.

We ended at the entrance to the vaulted cellar and went down for the last frames of this set. The black corset came afterwards. Thank you, Michaela.

Andrea at Schloss Ravenstein, upstairs

Then we went down to the entrance hall and into the rooms around it.

We finished between the second floor and the attic. About an hour, a lot of rooms, and an easy time. Thank you, Andrea.

An orange dress at Schloss Ravenstein

Blue against orange was the whole picture.

The next room was green twice over: the wallpaper, and ivy that had grown in through the window.

It was very cold, so we chose one last place. Jenny asked for the front door. The dress meets the worn wood there, and it also belongs to the century in which the house was built. We met again in March. Thank you, Jenny, for working through the cold with so much care.

Lukas at Schloss Ravenstein

In the next room an old bathtub was lying about. We steadied it with drawers from a desk so Lukas could sit in it. Then the desk itself, a staircase that leads nowhere, an old dumbwaiter, and a storeroom.

Sunlight came through a window where the plants are pushing in. After that, an old kitchen.

Another storeroom, the vaulted cellar with its small window, and a few last frames in the stairwell by the lounge. Jenny in the orange dress was the other session that day. Thank you, Lukas.
