Acrobatics Shooting – 28.04.2025 – Wiesbaden

End of April I went to a concert of the band Make a Move at the Schlachthof in Wiesbaden and still had some time before I had to go in. I saw some people practicing a bit adagio acrobatics and asked them if I could take some photos of them, as I was really impressed seeing what they did. Luckily they said yes and the following photos were taken. which you can see here.

Poesie mit Messer und Gabel in der Hessenkrone – 17.02.2024

Am 17. Februar 2023 fand in der Hessenkrone in Ronneburg der 3. Poesie mit Messer und Gabel Abend statt. Was für ein Abend ist dies? Es handelt sich um ein Poetry-Event, zu dem es ein gutes und leckeres Essen gibt und zwischen den Gängen Poetry-Slammer dann ihre Texte vortragen. So kurz nach dem Valentinstag war dieser 3. Abend der Freundschaft und Liebe gewidmet. Teilgenommen haben an dem Abend 4 Poetry-Slammer*innen, welche hier in Alphabetischer Reihenfolge zu sehen sind, zum Schluß noch ein paar Gruppenbilder und Bilder vom leckeren Essen.

Rotten Raptor Get Wasted III Festival – 15.06-18.06.2022 – Steinbruch Theater Nieder Ramstadt

From the 15th of june 2022 till the 18th of june the Steinbruch Theater, normally a club, was turned into a post-apocalyptic world in style of Mad Max. It was all organized by a group which calls itself Rotten Raptor. A group with a Network of about twenty people who show their skills. During that show they also make some shootings to have new photos, where I had the possibility to participate as photographer. It was a lot of fun and here are my photos for you to see.

[See image gallery at catchingmovement.de] I also made a turn of the area and took photos of the people, cars and everything else the did build up, which looked fantastic. Also some of the guests came dressed up to be in style and in the mood of the festival.

[See image gallery at catchingmovement.de] To round up everything, they also made a small show, with a singer who performed some Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash songs in a very cool way. He definitely knew what he was doing and had a fantastic voice. This was then finished with a fire show to light up everything.

[See image gallery at catchingmovement.de] Like last time, it showed how much fantasy they have and their love to the small details. Fun and impressive to see. So if they build up their camp near you, I do recommend you to go and take a look at the Rotten Raptor Camp.

Darmstadt Diamonds vs. Fursty Razorbacks – 30.9.2018

On the 30th of September 2018 the Darmstadt Diamonds played against the Fursty Razorbacks to determine who will be promoted to the GFL 2. It was a good game, whith a score of 21:13 at half time. The second half time was with a bit less success of the offense sides, with a final score of 36:19. This meant, that the Darmstadt Diamonds where promoted to the GFL 2 for the season 2019, where they played against the Wiesbaden Phantoms, the Biberach Beavers, the Ravensburg Razorbacks, the Gießen Golden Dragons, the Straubing Spiders and the Saarland Hurricanes. As the Team of the Nürnberg Rams decided to withdraw before the season, only one team would be going back down one league. At the end it where not the Darmstadt Diamonds, which where able to stay in the GFL 2. In the mean time, also due to the pandemic, they decided to withdraw from the GFL 2 and to play again one level lower.

But here are some photos of the game and the players in the after game huddle to talk about the season, the win, the promotion and what is to come.
